Ingredients
180g of Rolled Oats
40g of Gem Shredded Coconut
150g of Chopped Mixed Nuts (Whichever nuts are your favourite)
4 tsp of Cinnamon
1/4 tsp of Salt
120g of Maple Syrup
45g of Coconut Oil
100g of Gem Gourmet Chopped Dates
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (oats, shredded coconut, nuts, cinnamon and salt).
3. Add the wet ingredients (maple syrup and coconut oil) and mix thoroughly until all of the oats look wet.
4. Transfer the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet, evenly distributing with a wooden spoon so that it bakes evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown. Granola will darken as it cools.
5. Once it is removed from the oven, add your chopped dates and allow to cool. Once cooled store in an air-tight container.
